‘Only N1,500?’ — Man Laments Payment After Long Day Promoting Tinubu
A man who claimed to have spent the day dancing and walking long distances to promote the 2027 presidential bid of All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed disappointment after allegedly receiving just ₦1,500.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the man said he and others had been on the streets since morning, dancing and promoting Tinubu’s campaign, only to be paid ₦1,500 at the end of the exercise.
Visibly disappointed, he said he had a wife and children waiting for him at home and questioned whether it would not have been better to stay back.
The man also expressed doubts about the chairman representing them, wondering whether the official had not received money from the party’s “big wigs” before allegedly short-changing those who participated in the campaign activity.
He questioned why they would be made to work for hours, walk long distances and dance in support of Tinubu’s 2027 bid, only to receive such a small amount.
