NAF Aircraft Crashes In Ondo, Fate of Occupants Uncertain
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed the crash of one of its aircraft in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State.
NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the aircraft was on a routine mission when the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday.
According to a statement made available to TheCable, a rescue operation is currently underway.
There are unconfirmed reports that several occupants may have died in the crash, but the NAF has yet to release details on the number of people on board or confirm any casualties.
