EIDU Boosts Learning In Oyo Schools With English, Maths Materials
Germany-based education technology organisation, EIDU, has donated English and Mathematics learning materials to primary school pupils across Oyo State to strengthen foundational learning.
The materials, designed for Primary 1 to 3 pupils, are expected to support classroom teaching and help children improve their reading, writing and numeracy skills.
The donation was flagged off at Community Basic School, Ikolaba, Ibadan, on Friday.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, commended EIDU for its continued support for basic education in the state.

Adeniran said the intervention would complement the state government’s efforts to provide free and quality education. He noted that EIDU had previously supported the sector through digital training for teachers and learners.
He added that the materials would give teachers and pupils additional resources to reinforce lessons and make learning more engaging.
The OYOSUBEB chairman also reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to partnerships that improve teaching and provide pupils with quality learning resources.
The latest intervention is expected to benefit pupils across public primary schools in Oyo State.
