Aiyedatiwa Reshuffles Ondo Boards, Names New Chairmen

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new chairmen and members of various boards and agencies across the state.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced on Friday in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

Mrs Brown Ademilegun was appointed Chairman of the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, while Pastor Segun Ayerin will head the Local Government Service Commission.

Alhaji Adam Chandy was named Chairman of the Muslim Welfare Board, with Pastor Peter Abimbola appointed Chairman of the Christian Welfare Board. Mr Oluyemi Fashipe will head the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.

The governor also appointed Mr Femi Fadairo as Special Adviser on Special Duties and Strategy. He replaces Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed as Special Adviser on Mines and Mineral Resources.

Other appointments include full-time and part-time members of various boards and commissions in the state.

Aiyedatiwa congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their duties with dedication and transparency, in the best interest of Ondo residents.

According to Adeniyan, the appointments are part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen governance and ensure effective delivery of government responsibilities across the state.
