BREAKING: President Buhari Bestows National Awards on Tinubu, Shettima
President Muhammadu Buhari has bestowed national awards on President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima.
The awards were given to them on Thursday morning at an investiture ceremony in the State House, Abuja.
Bola-Tinubu who will be sworn in on May 29 received the national award of Grand Commander of the Order of Federal Republic (GCFR) reserved for Presidents, while Shettima bags the award of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).
Grand Commander of the Order of Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON)are regarded as the two highest National Honours in the country.
