Rivers State Monarch Becomes New Chancellor of LAUTECH
A Rivers State monarch HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse has been appointed as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho by the Oyo State Government.
The Oyo State Executive Council (ExCo) has announced t appointment of HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, Paramount Ruler of Emuoha Kingdom, as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.
HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse’s appointment was announced by the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun after the State ExCo meeting held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
He stated that LAUTECH will benefit from the rich experience of the first-class monarch as an administrator, community leader, and revered traditional ruler.
According to the commissioner, the appointment takes immediate effect.
