Oyo 2027: Sharafadeen Alli To Unveil ‘Oyo AHEAD’ Manifesto Tuesday
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, will on Tuesday unveil his manifesto, tagged Oyo AHEAD (Itayo Oyo), outlining his proposed development agenda for the state ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The presentation will take place at Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite the main gate of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, with stakeholders from different sectors expected to attend.
According to a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organization (SSACO), Bisi Oladele, the event will mark the formal presentation of Alli’s development blueprint for Oyo State.
Expected participants include representatives of the organised private sector, labour unions, farmers, students, artisans, academics, traders, women’s groups, community development associations and non-indigenes.
APC candidates contesting the 2027 elections, alongside party leaders, are also expected at the event.
The statement said Alli would present his proposals sector by sector, outlining his plans for the state’s development.
It described Oyo AHEAD as a people-centred roadmap intended to improve the state’s development performance and restore its position as a pace-setting state.
