2023 U-20-AFCON: Flying Eagles Lose to Gambia
Flying Eagles of Nigeria have lost to Gambia by failing to reach the final of the ongoing Under 20 African cup of Nations in Egypt.
After losing to Gambia in the semi finals on Monday by a lone goal, the Flying Eagles would now settle for a battle with Tunisia for a third-place finish.
Earlier, Senegal continued their commanding display at the tournament with a 3-nil victory over Tunisia to set up a final clash with Gambia.
The third-place fixture between Nigeria and Tunisia will be played on Friday, while the final between Senegal and Gambia will be played on Saturday.
