Wale Oke At 70: Alli Applauds Cleric’s 50 Years Of Impact
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Oyo State in the 2027 election, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has celebrated Archbishop Francis Wale Oke on his 70th birthday, commending the cleric’s five decades of service and impact.
Alli described Wale Oke, the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), as one of the foremost spiritual leaders produced by Ibadan, saying his work in advancing the Christian faith had brought honour to Oyo State and touched lives beyond Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday, Alli described the celebrant as a “kingdom general” and praised his contributions to spiritual development, mentorship and national growth.
“On behalf of my family and the APC family in Oyo State, I warmly congratulate one of our state’s most illustrious figures, Archbishop Francis Wale Oke, as he marks the landmark age of 70 years today,” he said.
Alli also described Wale Oke as “a generational leader, a reformer, and a dependable voice for peace and national development.”
According to him, the archbishop’s dedication to shaping destinies, uplifting lives and expanding the Christian faith over the past 50 years remains worthy of commendation.
He further praised Wale Oke’s leadership record in various capacities, particularly his stewardship as national president of the PFN.
“As you continue to expand the Kingdom and impact destinies, I pray for renewed grace, robust health, and many more fruitful years. Ibadan and Oyo State are immensely proud to have you,” Alli added.
The APC candidate joined Nigerians and members of the Christian community in celebrating the cleric, wishing him continued strength, good health and many more years of fruitful service.
