Prayer For Nigeria: Tinubu Heads To Mecca For Umrah
President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah, an Islamic spiritual pilgrimage, with prayers for Nigeria among the purposes of his visit.
The President left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Thursday afternoon for the holy city, according to the Presidency.
Umrah involves religious rites, prayers and spiritual reflection in Mecca.
Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria next week after completing the spiritual exercise.
