Iyabo Ojo Declares Self As ‘President Of Single Mothers Association’
Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has publicly announced herself as President General of the ‘Single Mothers’ Association’.
The announcement was made at actress Lola Alao’s birthday party.
According to the actress, it is no longer a thing of shame to become a single mother as children raised from such mothers are doing great contrary to the negative societal expectations.
She said, “Gone are the days that being a single mother was a stigma.
“Single mothers’ children are now doing great things in our society.
“Now, men are chasing and even begging us the single mothers that they want to marry us as a wife and not side chick because we have experience.
Ojo also urged women not to give up on love because of failed relationships as there are always better opportunities and fresh beginnings.
“If a man leaves you, another man will accept you. I’m now the President General of the Single Mothers Association.” She added.
