June 12 Protest: ‘We Are Hungry And Angry’– Nigerians Cry Out

Aggrieved citizens of Nigeria have seized the democracy day to demonstrate their concerns to the President in a protest.

The protesters took to the streets on Wednesday to protest against the hunger and economic hardship.

Reportedly, some protesters who gathered in Ikeja, Lagos State carried placards stating that President Bola Tinubu should be removed from power stressing their inability to provide for their families.

Messages such as, ‘President Tinubu, let the poor breath’, and ‘Reverse all anti-people, Neoliberal policies of privatisation’ are boldly seen on the placards

One of the protesters on X platform said, “We called for it and we are on the street in Ikeja Under Bridge. The tyrannical and oppressive government of @officialABAT must be shown the way out. We are hungry and angry. WeAreHungryProtest. June12Protest.”

Likewise, aggrieved Nigerians also gathered under the Berger Bridge to protest against the Tinubu administration.
