Common Entrance Exam: OYOSUBEB Denies Leak Allegation, Threatens Legal Action
The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has denied allegations linking it to the alleged leakage of results from the recently concluded Common Entrance Examination in the state.
In a statement, the board said it had no role in the setting, production, handling or administration of the examination, describing claims suggesting otherwise as false and misleading.
OYOSUBEB said complaints or concerns regarding the conduct and outcome of the examination should be directed to the Oyo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which it identified as the appropriate authority.
The board said it remained committed to transparency and professionalism, while urging media organisations to verify information before broadcasting allegations against public institutions and officials.
It also warned that defamatory statements or what it described as a continued smear campaign against its Executive Chairman, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, would attract legal action.
OYOSUBEB urged members of the public to rely on verified information from the appropriate authorities concerning the Common Entrance Examination.
