‘God Knows Your Needs’: Remi Tinubu Cautions Youths Against Desperation

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged young Nigerians to resist desperation and avoid chasing quick success, reminding them that God knows their needs and rewards diligence in due time.

She gave the advice on Friday while receiving the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing at the State House, Abuja, where she also donated nine buses to support the group’s activities.

According to a statement issued by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, the First Lady encouraged the youths to embrace patience, integrity and hard work rather than seeking shortcuts to success.

“God always knows our needs, and that is what young people do not know. They are always in a hurry,” she said.

She added:”I am teaching you how to learn contentment and not be beggarly.”

Drawing inspiration from the eagle, Senator Tinubu urged the youths to remain resilient and focus on building their own future instead of comparing themselves with others.

“When the eagle sees the storm, it flies above it. You should always look for your own path and not because someone else has it, you want it,” she said.

The First Lady also commended the APC youth leadership for promoting unity within the party and urged them to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

To strengthen the youth wing’s operations, she presented nine brand-new buses to the party’s national, zonal and FCT youth leaders.

Responding, APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel described the donation as a major boost to the group’s outreach and mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing gratitude to the First Lady for what he called a timely intervention.
