Video: ‘No Honour, Shameless’: VDM Slams Army Officer For Bullying Sick Civilian, Calls For Dismissal

The controversial online activist, Vincent Otse a.k.a Very Dark Man has expressed his disapproval against a Nigerian Army officer who bullied a defenseless civilian man.

The officer caught in a viral video and shared on VDM’s page reveals him slapping his victim repeatedly on the face for allegedly bashing the army’s vehicle while the man’s wife kept shouting, “he is not feeling fine”.

According to VDM, the Army officer did wrong by harassing the defenseless man, thereby calling for the dismissal of the “undisciplined officer”.

He said, “First of all to the military guy hitting that guy, it’s a shame. You are hitting a helpless man. You know that this man cannot retaliate that if this man touch you, it will be a bigger problem, all he has to do is to shield himself. It is as the the same when someone is backing you and you shoot the person, there is no honour in what you are doing, there is no honour…”

However, he took his time to orientate Nigerians never to follow closely or drag the road with Army officers whether on convoy or otherwise.

In the same breadth, he chided the officer for dishonoring himself by abusing his power and slapping the sick bullied man instead of serving and protecting.

Recall, days ago, the defamation lawsuit in which VeryDarkMan was involved in with prominent civil rights lawyer Femi Falana, along with his son Folarin Falana, was adjourned till January 23, 2025.

The decision was made after the Lagos State High Court hearing; Ikeja failed to hold on Thursday because most of the applications filed by the parties are not yet in the court file.
