Gunmen Murder Community Chief, Abduct Three In Kaduna
The village head of Kurmin- Kare, Ishaya Barnabas has recently been killed by unknown gunmen with three other residents abducted in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.
A source reported to newsmen that the gunmen invaded the village on motorcycles, headed to the chief’s house, and shot him dead before proceeding to a neighbour’s house where they kidnapped three residents.
Fortunately, youths according to the source, mobilised and arrested one of the bandits after he fell down from a motorcycle.
The suspected bandit has now been handed over to soldiers, the source added.
However, As of press time, the spokesman of Kaduna Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, is yet to confirm the incident.
