JUST-IN: NNPC’s Stake In Dangote Refinery Drops From 20% To 7.2%– Dangote Gives Reasons

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation now has a reduction in the stake it has with the Dangote Refinery, the Group CEO has revealed.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, he noted that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation no longer owns a 20 per cent stake in the refinery.

While speaking to journalists in Lagos on Sunday, he said NNPC has not fulfill its obligations by paying their balance in June.

“NNPC no longer owns a 20% stake in the Dangote refinery. They were met to pay their balance in June but have yet to fulfill the obligations. Now, they only own a 7.2% stake in the refinery.” He said.
