‘Gree For Somebody This Year’ – Nathaniel Bassey Counsels Singles
Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has urged singles to discard the popular social media mantra for 2024 which is ‘no gree for anybody this year’ but do the opposite.
The now popular slang Nigerians use means being resilient in their dealings against all odds.
Moreover, in the past week, both the army and the police had disagreed over the semantics of the slogan. While the former concurred with the slogan ‘no gree for anybody’, the latter countered it.
Advising singles, Bassey, on his part, told singles to gree for somebody by allowing love to win.
He urged them to disregard the trendy slogan among the youths, ‘No gree for anybody’ when it comes to marriage.
Bassey, in a recent social media post, wrote: “Gree for somebody, this year.”
