Oyo Guber: Makinde Close to Final Wins, Leads in 15 Oyo LGAs

The collation of the Oyo state governorship election ongoing at the office of the commission in Ibadan, the state capital has revealed that the incumbent governor of the state is in an early lead.

The Oyo State Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Engr. Seyi Makind, has been declared winner in all 17 Local Government Areas announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in the just concluded governorship and State House of Assembly election.

He defeated Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord Party, who are his two major rivals.
