2023 U20 AFCON: Senegal Wins, Defeats Gambia 2-0
Senegal has been crowned champions of the just concluded 2023 Under 20 African cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
The young lions of teranga defeated Gambia 2 nil in the final yesterday (Saturday)first-ever their first-ever AFCON under 20 trophies.
Goals from Lamine Camara and Mor Faye were enough for the Senegalese team to win this year’s edition.
They had previously finished second on three occasions, in 2015, 2017 and 2019 editions.
