
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi along with his wife, Margaret cast their votes close to mid-day on Saturday.
Mr. Obi spoke to newsmen at his Polling Unit, PU 019, Umudimakasi Square, Agulu, Anambra State expressing positivism in the polls.

The LP presidential candidate in a recap of what transpired at his polling unit took to his Twitter page and wrote:
“My dear wife and I have now cast our votes for a New Nigeria at 11:42 am in Agulu. It was a smooth process in my polling unit. However, I have received reports of delays in the delivery of voting materials nationwide.
“I hope the situation improves to allow the process to go on smoothly in all the polling units across the country.-PO

According to him, despite delays in the delivery of the sensitive materials, the presidential candidate is hopeful that he will emerge victorious if the poll is conducted in a free, fair, and credible atmosphere.
