INEC Sets to Display Preliminary Voters Register
The Preliminary Register of Voters, or PRC, will soon be displayed throughout Oyo State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
In a statement signed by the Oyo state INEC administrative secretary, Biodun Onikate Amosu maintained that the process was by the electoral act of 2022 and preparation for the upcoming general election in 2023.
According to the statement, the exercise would start on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the registration places, and would terminate on Friday, November 18, 2022.
The statement notes that the exercise in the thirty-three INEC local government offices will begin on Saturday 19th November and is expected to end on Friday 25th November 2022, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.
It however explains that the display exercise will be for all eligible registrants that are to be captured on the commission’s database to date.
