Oyo Govt Distributes Generating Sets to Primary Health Centers

The distribution of generating sets to the state’s newly rebuilt primary health centers has commenced by the Oyo state government’s primary health-care board.
The Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Primary Healthcare Board, Dr. Muideen Olatunji, announced that ninety-eight pieces have been purchased for the first beneficiaries of the gesture.
This, he said was a symbolic presentation of the first phase distribution of the generating set to local governments held at the state secretariat, Agodi Ibadan.
Dr. Olatunji claimed that 206 of the 351 primary health centers (PHCs) that Seyi Makinde’s administration recently remodeled had been concluded.

He said the project was executed to ensure quality health service delivery at the centers and to serve as backup to solar energy and regular electricity provided by the state in the PHCs
