Olu of Warri Inspects Coronation Anniversary Preparations on Electric Scooter

The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has inspected preparations for his fifth coronation anniversary in Okere, Warri, Delta State, during his morning fitness routine.

The monarch rode through the area on an electric scooter, accompanied by members of his security team, as he conducted an on-the-spot assessment of preparations for the anniversary.

His appearance drew cheers and greetings from residents and passers-by who encountered him during the inspection.

The monarch’s informal outing also attracted attention on social media, with several Facebook users praising his accessibility and approach to leadership.

One user described the development as an example of how leaders should remain connected to their people, saying leaders should be seen “openly and freely” experiencing the conditions of their communities.

Another user, Avwerosuo Amos Govina, described Atuwatse as a king with “class and charisma”, while Enujeke Prosper referred to him as “the Digital king with a difference.”
