What Nigerians Care About Is A Good President, Faults Rotational Presidency – Sowore

Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore on Tuesday has discredited the idea and practice of rotational presidency stressing the need of good governance only.
Speaking as a guest on Tuesday of has faulted the practice of rotational presidency in Nigeria, insisting that the country only needs good governance.
Sowore stated this on Tuesday, during a breakfast show, ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Channels Television.
He noted that most Nigerians thirst after who can run the country well regardless of where he is from, suggesting true federalism.
He said;
“If I have a good President in Nigeria, who can run this country very well, I don’t care where he comes from.
“That is what the majority of the Nigerian people are aspiring for. That is the idea of this federation that all the federating units should be able to have an opportunity,”.
