JUST-IN: FG Govt Declares Tuesday Public Holiday To Honour Late Buhari

The Nigerian Government has announced Tuesday, July 15, 2025 as a public holiday to honour the memory of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall the former President Buhari died on Sunday in London and is scheduled to be buried on Tuesdayin Katsina State.
The holiday was declared by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo in a statement on Monday.
Condolences have since poured in from dignitaries across the country, many who described Buhari as a man of integrity.
Before President Tinubu assumed power, late Buhari was Nigerian president from May 29, 2015 to May 29, 2023.
