Osun Rep, Oluwole Oke Announces Resignation From PDP

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, Oluwole Oke, a lawmaker who represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency has resigned his membership from the party.
Oluwole Oke, who is also the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts, declared this on April 16th, 2025.
He said, “I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my membership of the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with immediate effect,”.
“It is my wish that you accept my resignation in good faith,” he added in the letter.
The fifth-term legislator also copied the National Chairman, State Chairman and the Local Government Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
