You Mean Business? Honour Mohbad With Foundation — FPRO Tells Mourners
The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has hinted sympathisers and mourners of the late fast- rising
singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, fondly known as Mohbad, on how he can be honoured.
The FPRO, stated on X, Saturday
that creating a foundation in his name is a way Mohbad can be immortalised if his fans meant serious business.
Adejobi shared his opinion as he decried the way some of the mourners conducted themselves during the candlelight procession held in honour of the deceased.
There are trendy videos and pictures online that reveal a lady raising her shirt and flaunting her breasts in her black bra.
He tweeted, “Is this a candlelight procession? I think those who are sponsoring these so-called processions should have a rethink and gather their money to launch a foundation in honour of Mohbad if they mean business. This incident won’t snowball into any anarchy in Nigeria. If that’s their plan or game, it won’t work.”(sic)
He, however, added that the Nigeria Police Force will prevent the procession from snowballing into anarchy.
MohBad, the “Ko Por Ke”, crooner was 27 at the time of his death on September 12.
He was reported dead by three teenagers believed to be his friends after he was taken to a hospital in Lagos for treatment of an alleged ear infection.
To clear the air on what led to his death, the Lagos State Police said his body was exhumed on Thursday, with an autopsy done and concluded.
Since the conclusion of the autopsy, Nigerians are still awaiting results.
