Who do You Think You are?
“Wow!”, after a long deep breath, was my response when I discovered the truth in discovering “who I am in God”. In the last edition, we discussed taking care of our spirit man so that it will not die, and we were able to see how great and better we shall be when we stay by the Word. In this Edition, I want to share with us one of the greatest advantages of dining with God that which we learnt in the last edition. When you keep fellowshipping with God personally, you will see yourself the way God sees you. As simple as this may sound, it is a great tool that can either mar or make you, depending on the way you choose to respond to it. The Bible says in the book of Isaiah 43:1 – “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine”. This is the word of the Lord and not my word. He also said in Jeremiah 29:11 that “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
I cannot believe these if I have not read it or heard it or seen it but to crown it all, I have experienced it that no one has the access to your profile in life except GOD. The devil fully and truly knows that when you keep communicating with God you will become very confident to do anything glorious. This he knows so he looks for every means for you not to believe in yourself and if you do not believe in yourself you will find it hard to know what God will have you do because you will no longer know how he talks to you. Remember what Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 2:11 “Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”. The truth is that the devil will always have a plan because he is smart but God will always have the MASTER PLAN that can never be replaced but it all depends on you and me. It is either we choose to know and live by the plan of God or choose to live by the other plan which seems to be more realistic than the master plan. But the bitter truth I will like us to know is that the master plan might not look like it of a truth, but behind, it is where the glory of your expected end lies. The devil is fully aware of this. You know he was once in the system. Isaiah 14:12-19. So to think that he does not know is the most dangerous error. I want us all to know today that God speaks and communicates to each and every one of us. The moment we are saved and redeemed by the blood. We are His so He speaks to us as His own.
Therefore, do not let your heart be troubled if it is already troubled because that is exactly the way devil wants you to be so that you will no longer believe the original truth about yourself but instead, you will want to believe the fake that look so much like the original. So stop saying to yourself you are a fool because you are not, stop making yourself believe you do not know anything because it is unto you to know all things. Mathew 11:27; no one knows better than God, no man of God knows you better than God. Whose report will you believe?
This special grace and gift of hearing is given only to those who are saved and have given their lives to Christ. If you have not, here is another opportunity, as sincere as you are right here, tell Him to come and be the king over you, tell Him how much you want Him. Just talk to Him like you can see Him because the truth is He is right there with you. Once this is done I’m glad to say CONGRATULATIONS.
