‘We Will Continue To Invest’-Netflix Company Rules Out Plans To Exit Nigeria
Speculations on the withdrawal of the Global video streaming platform, Netflix have been dismissed by its officials.
This followed a viral statement from renowned Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan who was quoted as saying Netflix cancelled many projects it had commissioned earlier.
Netflix which made its entry into Nigeria in 2016 has through its spokesperson debunked the rumors that took the social media by storm; stating that the movies streaming platform will continue to support Nigeria’s creative economy.
He said, “We are not exiting Nigeria. We will continue to invest in Nigerian stories to delight our members,”
