Former Ogun State governor, Olusegun Osoba, has urged Nigerians to believe in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu claiming he will do better during his second term.
The former governor expressed this
during the All Progressives Congress, APC, South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos.
Osoba pointed out that Tinubu did not make himself president, that Nigerians did and as such should believe in his can-do spirit.
He said, “Now that Tinubu is there, I want to plead with all of you to accept his shortcomings. He will do better. After his first four-year term, he will serve another four years as a Yoruba son.
“The South West Assembly’s message is clear – the Yoruba leadership stands united behind Tinubu’s presidency and remains confident in his ability to deliver on his promises during his tenure.
“Bola didn’t make himself the President of Nigeria; we did.”
