Tinubu Welcomes Indian Prime Minister Modi On First Visit To Nigeria

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received Narendra Modi,
India’s Prime Minister to Nigeria on his first official visit.
This was disclosed by the President in a statement through his official X handle on Sunday.
Earlier, the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga had announced that Tinubu will host Modi on Sunday.
The President wrote; “Look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his first visit to Nigeria, which is also the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to our dear country since 2007.
“Our bilateral discussions will seek to expand the strategic partnership between both countries and enhance cooperation in critical sectors. “Welcome to Nigeria, PM Modi,”
The Pendulum Media gathered that Prime Minister Modi arrived Abuja, in the early hours of Sunday.
