Tinubu Prepares To Visit China To Perfect Rail Contract, Other MOUs-Ngelale
President Bola Tinubu has been scheduled to travel to China by the first week of September 2024, Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson has said.
Ngelale, who is the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, noted that the trip will afford Mr. President an opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister, Xi Jinping, during which bilateral matters will be discussed.
He added that Tinubu will also meet with the management of China’s construction giants, the Chinese Rail Construction Company (CRCC) with a view to concluding contract terms for the Ibadan to Abuja rail project.
The Presidential media aide also explained that the trip will attract other foreign direct investment to Nigeria, especially in the areas of agriculture, power, commerce and communications, as several MOUs would be signed.
