A self-acclaimed relationship and mental expert, Blessing CEO declared on Friday via her Facebook page that when a pregnant woman sleeps with a married man, the act comes with a curse.
Her reaction was borne out of social media reactions towards a pregnant married woman who was caught with a pastor having sexual intercourse in a viral video.
Reports have it that the pregnant woman brought the Pastor into her matrimonial house and was thereafter caught in the act. Reacting, Blessing says, when a married woman does that, she invites a curse on her and her children.
“…no matter the level of exposure, no matter our level of study, any pregnant woman that sleeps with a man that is not her husband, it comes with a curse.” She stated
She frowns at the way some women reacted to the incident saying they are sarcastic;
women are looking at the issue as “men do the same thing, hence, it is not a big deal. And that “the pregnant woman should be forgiven by her husband because if it were to be the husband too, caught in the act, he would be forgiven by the woman.'” She says.
Earlier, BB Naija Star, Tega had also reacted to the incident saying, the man should knee and pray to God to intervene as it is the devil’s work
The CEO, however revealed that many women are always in competition with men and there are certain things, men will do and get away with that a woman won’t be able to do because men and women are not equal.
“no matter how you want to fight it, no matter how feminine you are, no matter how rich you are, men and women are not equal, that is the reason why every time you want to do the things that men do, it backfires on you”
“you are at the receiving end as the woman. You will suffer, a man will do so many people things and get away with it but as a woman, you will suffer. Men are givers, women are keepers, and collectors,… Men are the rain, women are the drum that collects the rain, stores, and must be covered”
She says, men only give and share while women are to collect and keep and nurture as that is how a woman gets her power
The therapist emphasized that pregnant women who sleep around, bring curses on their children, and reproduce the same monsters they are trying to avoid.
Advising women, she mentioned that it is honorable to leave a marriage that is not working than to shamefully sleep around as a pregnant married woman which comes with a generational curse.”
“If you know you are tired of the marriage, walk out with dignity, rest. They use to rest in marriage. If the pressure is getting worse, come out and rest instead of embarrassing yourself, because at the end of the day, what will people say?”
“It is even better they said, you left your husband with dignity than to say, they caught you with another man, that’s a shame- that’s a generational shame.”
“Let it be that they said, the marriage was not working you divorced, you have a good story than they catching you on camera with pregnancy, how do you want to face the world?”
Amongst other things, she noted that there is a possibility the pregnant woman was brainwashed by the pastor, for her to have brought him to her matrimonial home.
It is not her place even as a relationship therapist to tell her clients what to do. It is left to the husband to decide whether to forgive his wife or not. It is his choice, she says ‘the story is heavy.’
