South Africa Officially Has New President As Ramaphosa Gets Sworn-In For Second Term

Cyril Ramaphosa has been sworn-in for a second term in Pretoria, the South African capital as President.

President Ramaphosa took his oath of office before Chief Justice of South Africa, Raymond Zondo.

The 71-year-old said, “I Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa swear that I will be faithful to the Republic of South Africa, and will obey, observe, uphold and maintain the Constitution and all other law of the Republic,”.

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo are among dignitaries from all over Africa and the world who witnessed the event.
