Sit At Home If You Will Not Vote APC- MC Oluomo Intimidates Igbos In Lagos

Notorious Lagos thug, Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya, has threatened Igbos who decide not to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s governorship election, to stay at home.

Mr. Akinsanya, leader of the Lagos motor parks management committee, known for notoriously commanding the militant wing of the ruling APC in Lagos was seen in a video addressing some party enthusiasts.

“We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home,” MC Oluomo said in pidgin English as seen in a viral video shared on Twitter.

Last week, operatives of the APC deployed all manners of tactics to ensure success at the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections. This was after their shocking defeat at the hands of the Labour Party during the February 25 presidential polls in the state.

In the presidential election, Labour’s Peter Obi polled 582,454 votes to defeat former Lagos governor and APC flag bearer Bola Tinubu, who polled 572,606 votes.

Mr. Tinubu was subsequently declared the winner of the election after total results from 36 states were collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

However, Mr. Obi’s victory in Lagos State has positioned his party’s candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, as a major challenger of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC in the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday.
