‘Remarkable Appointment’- CAN Congratulates Open Salawu
Engineer Muftau Open Salawu, FNSE has been congratulated by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogbomoso zone over his appointment as the Executive Assistant on Project Monitoring to the Oyo State Governor.
CAN’s chairman, Ven. Dr J S Adegoke, expressed in a statement that despite Open Salawu’s Islamic faith, he is ‘a rare asset”, and his appointment is “remarkable’.
It read, “As Christian body in Ogbomosoland, it is gratifying to hear that Engr Muftau Open SALAWU meng. was recently appointed as the Executive Assistant on Project Monitoring to the Oyo State Government.
“Engr Open SALAWU is a devout Muslim but with no bias mind to the Christians. He is a rare asset, an accomplished Entrepreneur with a very rich wealth of experience. His new appointment is remarkable, an honour and a testament to his worth.
“The Zonal CAN Ogbomoso expressed her profound gratitude to our amiable Governor, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde for making Engr. Muftau Open SALAWU his choice candidate for this very important portfolio in Oyo State.
