Qatar 2022: Cameroon Lost Out With Brazil Nil to 1

Cameroon became the first ever African country to beat Brazil at a World Cup tournament after a 1 nil victory over the South American side in their final group match.

Captain Vincent Aboubakar scored the only goal of the match in the 92nd minute, but it was not enough to see them through to the round of 16.

Despite the defeat, Brazil finished top of Group G and qualified for the round of 16 along Switzerland, who beat Serbia 3-2 to finish second.

Earlier, Portugal and South Korea also booked their place in the next round, while Uruguay and Ghana crashed out.

The round of 16 fixtures begin today with Netherlands taking on USA, while Argentina face Australia.
