President Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval Of Three REC Nominees
President Bola Tinubu has sent the names of three Resident Electoral Commissioners to the Senate for confirmation.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio disclosed this during Tuesday plenary.
Tinubu’s request was immediately referred to the committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC by the House for the agency to revert as soon as possible.
Recall, two weeks ago, Saseyi Feyijimi Ibiyemi, a legal practitioner was also nominated by the President as REC for Onso State.
