President Tinubu Needs Support From Nigerians— Senator Yari
Nigerians have been urged by
Alhaji Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, the former Governor of Zamfara State and present senator representing Zamfara West, to support President Tinubu through prayers.
While engaging newsmen at his Talata Mafara country home, the Senator noted that Tinubu needs support to be able to nip the current economic and security challenges of the country in the bud.
Further, he expressed that the Islamic faith requires prayers for leaders and as such his supporters should endeavor to pray for the President.
He said, “The Islamic teachings encourage Muslims to engage in fervent prayers for their leaders. That is why I am advising my teeming supporters to always be praying for their leaders, irrespective of political affiliation,”
“That is why I am calling on Nigerians to rally round President Tinubu by giving him all the necessary support through prayers,”
The former governor also commended the president for carrying Nigerians along, irrespective of religious and political affiliation.
