President Tinubu Hosts Okonjo-Iweala, Pate at Aso Rock
Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on Tuesday afternoon was hosted by President Bola Ahmed-Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to reports, Dr. Okonjo-Iweala was accompanied by Dr. Ali Pate, one of the president’s ministers-designate around 3:00 pm.
While addressing the media after the meeting, Okonjo-Iweala disclosed that she and Pate met the President on how to assist the country “during this period”.
Iweala noted that although she was not on official duty, there was a need to offer the support she could as a Nigerian.
Okonjo-Iweala said she and Pate looked forward to support the people of Nigeria.
