President Tinubu Arrives Kano On Condolence Visit To Dantata’s Family

President Bola Tinubu on Friday embarked on a journey to Kano State, to pay a condolence visit to the family of late businessman Aminu Dantata, who died in June.
The President arrived the Aminu Kano International Airport around 3:00 pm today.
Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf and other government officials received him.
It was reported on Thursday by
Sunusi Bature the spokesman to Governor Abba Yusuf who said the President would visit the North-West state to condole the Dantata family and the people of Kano State over the death of the late philanthropist.
Tinubu’s visit comes about three weeks after the business icon died at the age of 94 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Dantata, an elder statesman was known for his investment in real estate and agriculture, among others and an uncle of business mogul Aliko Dangote.
Also famous for his charitable works, last year, Dantata donated N1.5bn to the victims of the Maduguri flooding in Borno State.
