Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday morning has witnessed Buhari’s signing of 2023 Appropriation Bill into law.
The President, at the event, stated that his administration would speed up critical infrastructural projects nationwide before the end of his tenure on May 29, 2023
Buhari revealed that the budget is N21.83 trillion in aggregate expenditure, an increase of N1.32 trillion over the initial executive proposal of N20.51 trillion.
Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other members of the Federal Executive Council were also present at the event.
Earlier in the weekend, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, had mentioned to journalists after a closed-door meeting with Buhari that the President would sign the 2023 transition budget on Tuesday.
