Parish Priest, Michael Olofinlade Kidnapped in Ekiti
The Parish Priest of Saint George’s Catholic Church Omu Ekiti in Oye Local Government, Reverend Father Michael Olofinlade has been kidnapped.
According to the Ekiti Monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogundeyi told newsmen that the Priest was whisked away between Itaji and Ijelu Ekiti on Saturday evening while returning from Ado Ekiti.
He explained that security agencies and local hunters have since been mobilised to go after the abductors to rescue the Reverend Father.
Ekiti state Police command of yet to react to the incident as at the time of this report.
