Osun Lawmakers Show Concern Over State’s Debt Profile.
Lawmakers in Osun State House of Assembly have expressed growing concerns over the recent reactions trailing the debt profile declaration by Governor of the State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
In a statement made available to Newsmen in Osogbo, the Chairman, House Committee on Information & Publicity, Honorable Kunle Akande explained that, the Assembly, as the accredited representatives of the people is duty-bound to seek clarifications and inform the people of the State accordingly.
On this note, he appealed to investors and business owners not to be deterred by the said debt profile of the State.
However, Honorable Akande revealed that appropriate agencies of government had been directed to immediately provide the House with the updated details of the State’s debt and financial profile.
