Lately, social media has been agog with the news about the Ooni of Ife
Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II who has developed a strong appetite for high-profile women as wives.
Oba Ogunwusi had been a four-time divorcee, his last in December 2021 when Queen Naomi Silekunola made public their separation.
The highly revered king has now found succor in engaging new women in quick succession with the first marriage after Queen Naomi Silekunola as Mariam Anako, on September 6, 2022; Elizabeth Akinmudai; Tobiloba Philips, October 9, 2022, Ashley Adegoke, October 14, 2022, and
Ronke Ademiluyi, October 20, 2022.
The monarch on Thursday, October 20, 2022, married his fifth wife, Ronke Ademiluyi who is the great-granddaughter of the 48th Ooni of Ife, Ajagun Ademiluyi.
Moreover, Ooni’s spokesperson, Moses Olafare announced in a Facebook post that the king is set to welcome the sixth Queen to the palace, Temitope Adesegun, who he said, hails from Ijebu land.
“Olori Temitope Adesegun Ogunwusi ❤️An Ijebu Princess cum Ile-Ife Queen🎂🍷❤️💯Tomorrow is the D day!❤️🍷🎂.” Olafare wrote.
This has since generated mixed reactions about the king’s decision in marrying more wives.
