Ondo Governor, Akeredolu Receives Four Southwest Governors at His Ibadan Residence
Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday received the presence of four governors of the southwest states in his Jericho home in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
According to the journalists who monitored the event, the governors included Babajide Sanwo-Olu ( Lagos), Dapo Abiodun ( Ogun), Abiodun Oyebamiji( Ekiti), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).
The governors with the exclusion of
Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke reportedly paid a get-well visit to Akeredolu.
The journalists were however denied access to cover further activities of the governors at the residence.
Recall that Akeredolu recently returned from Germany after months of medical treatment and had remained in Ibadan, a development that has generated criticisms from Ondo state citizens.
The governors had earlier met with their Oyo state counterpart, governor, Seyi Makinde, and had a closed-door meeting before proceeding to Akeredolu’s residence.
