Oct 1st: President Tinubu, VP, Other Dignitaries Cut Independence Cake in Abuja
Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed-Tinubu has marked the nation’s new age at 63 by cutting the anniversary cake on Sunday.
President Tinubu was flanked by Vice President, Kashim Shettima, SGF George Akume, among a host of others in a video.
The video was shared with a caption by the President’s special assistance on Social Media, Olusegun Dada via his X handle on Sunday.
It read, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) cuts the 63rd Independence Day Anniversary Cake in company of VP Kashim Shettima, SGF George Akume, President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the HOR, RT Hon Tajudeen Abass, all Service Chiefs and Senior members of Government #63rdIndependence”
Earlier on Sunday, President Tinubu in his nationwide broadcast reminded Nigerians of his promises during his inauguration, saying he would “reshape and modernize our economy and to secure the lives, liberty and property of the people.”
