NUJ Congratulates BCOS New General Manager, Commends Makinde
The Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state, BCOS chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has felicitated one of its own, Mr. Goke Adelakun on his appointment as General Manager of the Corporation.
BCOS NUJ Chairperson, Dupe Fehintola, Secretary, Olaposi Oshola, and the union in a signed message on Monday described Mr. Adelakun’s appointment as due reward for hard work, excellence in service, and unwavering commitment to duty.
BCOS NUJ noted that Mr. Adelakun, an exemplary gentleman who is also a level-headed highly committed, and loyal officer, is a round peg in a round hole.
They expressed optimism that the new GM will cooperate with the Chairperson of BCOS, Mrs. Dọtun Olaitan, the entire BCOS management, and staff to project the Corporation to greater heights in the realm of global broadcasting.
The Union also extended their gratitude to the executive governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the appointment and hope that the state government will quickly inject the necessary support to the state broadcasting outfits to enable the organisation to fulfill its corporate and statutory obligations to the very best in conformity with international standards.
