Nigerian Rapper, Oladips Dies at Age 28

Barely two months the Nigerian entertainment Industry lost a young music star, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, and another Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips has died.

According to a statement by his management on Wednesday via Instagram, the rapper passed away after he was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night over an undisclosed illness.

In the statement, his team expressed shock at his sudden demise stating the rapper had kept his struggles with himself for two years.

It read, “We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka OLADIPS has passed away yesterday Nov’14 Tuesday evening, at exactly 10:14 pm We are still in shock as we speak!

“For over 2 years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now with his family & funeral service will be announced as soon as it is concluded!

“The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss. (Amen) -Management,”.

Fans and music artistes alike are in shock over his demise.

The deceased, hailed from Ogun State, was born on 24th March 1995 in Ogun state. He began rapping as early as 17 and he is best known for his street hit ‘Lalakukulala’.
